Mr. Ginnetty graduated from William & Mary Law School in 2015, where he cultivated a strong passion for criminal defense. During law school, he completed an international internship in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with International Bridges to Justice, a nongovernmental organization dedicated to strengthening indigent defense systems in developing and fragile legal infrastructures.
After law school, Mr. Ginnetty moved to Louisiana through Gideon’s Promise, an organization committed to improving public defender services nationwide. He began his career in Lafayette before joining the St. Tammany Public Defender’s Office in 2020 to be closer to his adopted home base in Hammond. There, he continued building extensive trial experience before joining Hogan Attorneys in 2023.
Since 2015, Mr. Ginnetty has represented more than 1,000 clients in matters ranging from Child in Need of Care (CINC) proceedings to cases carrying potential life-without-parole sentences. His experience spans every stage of litigation, and he approaches each case with careful preparation, strategic focus and deep respect for the individual circumstances of his clients.
Commitment to Local Louisiana Justice
Originally from Massachusetts, Mr. Ginnetty has called Louisiana home since 2015. Before attending law school, he taught for two years at a university in Inner Mongolia, China. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, bringing a global perspective and cultural awareness to his practice.
